Grow hair faster!

For some of us growing long beautiful hair is not a problem, but let’s face it, not all of us have it that easy. While there is no magical instant cure for longer hair, there are a few things you can do to make sure you’re hair will grow, grow, grow!
Haircut
Yes, that’s right, if you want long hair, the best thing to do is get a cut. It is best to grow your hair out when it’s all the same length. It stays healthier. Hair with lots of layers is hard to keep health. It gets split ends quicker, meaning more trims. So ask your stylist to cut your hair to the shortest layer, if your shortest layer is too short, find a layer that you’re comfortable with and start there.

Circulation
Yep, that’s right, get your heart pumping! In addition, it’s a good idea to massage your head every day, either by rubbing your scalp with your fingertips (you can do this while shampooing your hair) or you can just get your significant other to give you a scalp massage! Another tip is to brush your hair daily. You might even turn your head upside down and brush it. However, be sure to use a natural boar bristle or a soft bristle brush to prevent breakage. While you are at it, do not forget to wash your hairbrushes and combs.

Eat Right
Yep, Mom was right when she said to eat your veggies! It’s important to have a healthy diet, not just for your hair, but for your health as well. You need Vitamins A (diary products, fish) Vitamins B (leafy veggies, meat, fish) and Vitamin E (nuts, broccoli) Vitamin E also helps if you have hair falling out, people who were loosing more hair found by taking vitamin E they didn’t loose as much. Eating red meat also helps hair grow quicker. It is rich in zinc and iron, two nutrients proven to help hair grow faster!

Keep your Hair Clean
Oily scalp can clog follicles and keep your hair from growing quickly. Your hair grows an average of ½ inch a month. So by keeping a dirty scalp, you could loose that growth.

Get Regular Trims
You need to get a trim at least every eight weeks. Be sure to tell your stylist only to trim the ends. You don’t want to snip off all of your hard work!
Try not to wear you hair in ponytails too often.
This can actually cause breakage if done too often. If you do pull your hair up, do not use rubber bands. Always use the cloth-covered holders.
Love your hair!
Take care of your hair, health and before you know it, you’ll have long gorgeous locks!
